Service-Based Work
Black Riven provides professional consulting, strategy, advisory, and digital services. Because most work involves time, research, planning, analysis, and custom deliverables, completed services are generally non-refundable.
Eligibility for Refunds
Refund requests may be considered in limited situations including:
- The project or consultation has not yet started
- A duplicate payment was processed accidentally
- Black Riven is unable to deliver the agreed service
- A refund agreement was confirmed in writing
Non-Refundable Services
The following services are generally non-refundable once work has started or materials have been delivered:
- Consultation sessions
- Cybersecurity assessments
- Digital strategy planning
- UI/UX consulting and design work
- Technical audits and analysis
- Custom research or documentation
- Project retainers and reserved time blocks
Payment Disputes
Clients are encouraged to contact Black Riven directly before initiating payment disputes or chargebacks.
Unauthorized or abusive chargeback activity may result in suspension of services, termination of agreements, or legal review where applicable.
Project Cancellation
Clients may request cancellation of a project before work begins. Once active work, research, planning, or consultations have started, fees for completed work and reserved project time may still apply.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days depending on the payment provider and financial institution involved.
